Plant Watering Instruction - Cylinder Shape

Watering succulent is the most important and critical part of growing succulents.

  1.  Find a shallow plate, cup or dish.
  2. Please use bottled spring water or rain water as much as possible. If you have to use tap water, please let it sit overnight to reduce the quantity of chlorine it contains.
  3. Fill the container with enough water to cover 1/4 inch from the base.
  4. Place the succulent necklace or keychain capsule inside the container and water will slowly absorbed by the potting mixture at the base through the tiny holes.
  5. Carefully observe the potting mixture color change inside the base of the capsule. The mixture is appears to be grayish white when it is completely dry. The color will change to dark brown when it is wet. The goal is to rehydrate about 1/2 or 2/3 of potting mixture inside the succulent necklace or keychain capsule.
  6. If the potting mixture is over saturated or any visible condensation inside the capsule after watering, please remove the necklace capsule and place it in a warm (avoid placing it under the heat lamp or direct sunlight) and well ventilated area for at least 1-2 days to allow potting mixture to dry out properly for the plant’s root to be healthy.
